  Nightmoves Bruce Eskovitz Listen
This tune makes for a great opener with its mambo styled beat. It features a tenor solo followed by a drum solo that maneuvers deftly around the band's off-beat accents.
  Regions Bruce Eskovitz Listen
This piece explores the changing nature of Jazz with irregular structure and harmony. tenor and trumpet work out on this one.
  Twilight Moon Bruce Eskovitz Listen
This piece invokes the feeling of a dream sequence with its subtle melody and haunting voicings. Piano solo and soprano sax solos are featured with lush backgrounds behind each soloist.
  Somalia Bruce Eskovitz Listen
African rhythms and an exotic melody frame this exciting piece as trombone, trumpet and drums all dance in front of the fire.
Little Sunflower Freddie Hubbard arr by Bruce Eskovitz Listen
This great jazz standard has been re-set with a hip-hop groove with flute and bass clarinet playing the opening. After hot solos for guitar and tenor, and a burning shout chorus for the ensemble that settles down, the original dark theme is restated with a dream like quality.
All For Love Bruce Eskovitz Listen
This ballad explores several of the feelings associated with love. Both trumpets share the spotlight on this dark ballad.
  No Fear Bruce Eskovitz Listen
Rip-roaring energy as alto and tenor chase each other in this barn burner.
Peace for Stan Bruce Eskovitz Listen
This ballad tune was written for and dedicated to tenor saxophone great Stan Getz and was compositionally constructed along the lines of the "Focus Suite". It features rich harmonies in the ensemble, and tenor soloing freely throughout.
  Mob Scene Bruce Eskovitz Listen
The title says it all and the band is on fire throughout. It features tenor and electric bass and the entire ensemble in some very "screemingly" difficult sections. This one starts hot and blazes to its finish. A great concert closer!!!!

Big Band Standard Instrumentation

  Somalia Bruce Eskovitz
Same burning chart as the BEJO version, but enlarged for big band. A great concert closer.
  Now's the Time Bruce Eskovitz
This Charlie Parker classic is redone as an afro-cuban 12/8 groover. In then drops in to a funky shuffle for guitar and tenor solos. Lead trumpet to high "G".
'Round Midnight T. Monk arr by Bruce Eskovitz
This alto feature is based on the "Art Pepper plus Eleven" recording. It has wonderful harmonies and is for an advanced band
  La Carrera Bruce Eskovitz
This latin burner features the two tenor players going at full throttle. A sure crowd pleaser.
  Ballad for Gabe Bruce Eskovitz
A soaring alto feature in the Stan Kenton style. Alto part and brass parts are challenging, but worth the effort.
  Latin Fever Bruce Eskovitz
A mambo chart in the latin style. Good for young bands. Unison shout chorus in the middle followed by a drum/percussion "montuno" solo. Very exciting.
